Drop Weight Tester – Falling Weight Impact Tester for determining the impact resistance of a free fall impact hammer from different heights. The FIT 1000 is designed for testing the impact strength of plastic pipes and systems that contain electrical and fiber optic cables as well as the cables and fittings themselves.

Drop Weight Tester – Falling Weight Impact Tester is made from high strength and rigidity steel and aluminum. The lower area fixes directly to the ground ensuring the impact force is absorbed by the ground and not the frame and body of the impact tester. The drop tower has adjustable feet to ensure its completely level. There is a small viewing window to enable the operator to see the movement of the impact hammers.
The FIT Drop Weight Tester – Falling Weight Impact Tester is manufactured in Spain by Metrotec and fully supported for sales, service and calibration by AML Instruments in the UK.

D20 / R300 Impact Hammer (Conforms to DIN BS UNE-EN and IEC 61386-1)
Will provide the different impact energies indicated in each standard:
Dimensions – Diameter 20 mm and Radius = 300 mm
Hammer mass = 0.5 kg
With the impact hammer & no weights it will perform impact testes with a mass of 0.5kg
With the additional mass of a 0.5kg the total impact mass is 1kg.
D20 / R300 Impact Hammer (conforms to DIN BS UNE-EN and IEC 61386-1)
Will provide the different impact energies indicated in each standard:
Dimensions – Diameter 20 mm and Radius = 300 mm
Hammer mass = 1kg
With the impact hammer & no weights it will perform impact testes with a mass of 1kg
With the additional mass of 1kg the total impact mass is 2kg.
With the additional masses of 1.8kg, 2kg & 2kg the total impact mass is 6.8kg.
D35 / R25 Impact Hammer (Conforms to DIN BS UNE-EN and IEC 61386-24)
Will provide the different impact energies indicated in each standard:
Dimensions – Diameter 35 mm and Radius = 25 mm
Hammer mass = 1kg
With the impact hammer & no weights it will perform impact testes with a mass of 1kg
With the additional mass of 2kg the total impact mass is 3kg.
With the additional masses of 2kg & 2kg the total impact mass is 5kg.
D20 / R10 Impact Hammer (Conforms to DIN BS UNE-EN and IEC 61386-24)
Will provide the different impact energies indicated in each standard:
Dimensions – Diameter 20 mm and Radius = 10 mm
Hammer mass = 0.5kg
With the impact hammer & no weights it will perform impact testes with a mass of 0.5kg
With the additional mass of 0.5kg the total impact mass is 1kg.
