On Wednesday 25th June 2025, AML Instruments hosted our first‑ever Open Day, welcoming representatives from businesses across sectors including food and beverage, packaging, and industrial manufacturing.
Attendees brought their test equipment, such as weighing scales, load cells, torque wrenches, and calipers for a free calibration service, and gained the opportunity to meet the AML team and catch a glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes.
🌟 Event highlights included:
- Free equipment calibration across multiple disciplines, allowing guests to drop in with their own test instruments and receive expert advice and service.
- Facility tours, with visitors observing live calibrations in action and gaining insight into our setup, workflows, and best practices.
- Networking opportunities over coffee and some delicious AML-branded cupcakes (thank you Bakes By Sonia!), sparking positive discussions between our workforce and attendees.
- Test equipment demonstrations, including the Coefficient of Friction Tester manufactured by Rhopoint Instruments, and the MB62 Moisture Analyser from Ohaus.

Speaking of the event, Managing Director Alex Leeson enthused:
“The day was a huge success — it gave us the chance to meet both new and existing customers, show them firsthand how we work, and support a wide variety of industry test equipment. It was also a great way to build and strengthen relationships, while showcasing our reputation as a full-spectrum calibration company. We’re already looking forward to hosting it again next year.”
Everyone at AML Instruments would like to thanks to all participants for making this launch event a great success and we look forward to seeing you again in 2026!
