Flooring Flatness Tester BS EN 17539, apparatus for determination of flatness of modular mechanical locked floor coverings (MMF)

Precision high stiffness frame fitted with dial test indicators as standard or optionally digital indicators and optional software which automatically calculates the flatness value.

We recommend the Flooring Flatness Tester is used on a granite surface table to ensure accurate and repeatable results, we will quote this as an option.

Method of flooring width flatness measurement.

• The gauge is zeroed on the surface table
• Tile is slid under the gauge
• The frame and gauge is slid across the flooring to find the lowest concave reading
• The gauge is re-zeroed
• The frame is slid across the flooring to find the highest convex point.
• Record all measured values and take the largest convex and concave values and divide each by the measurement d (width). Express the results to the nearest 0,01 %.
