Whiteness

AML’s range of whiteness measurement instruments include the ColorTouch X Spectrophotometer and PROFILE / Plus Color Touch. They’re used in industries like food and drink, paint and coatings, plastics, printing, and textiles for many aesthetic and technical applications.

They test the ability of a material to reflect light (white materials reflect light evenly across the entire visible spectrum), as well as determine how white it appears visually.

White materials are also essential for providing the necessary base, background, or substrate for many products, such as the readability for text and coloured inks.
