Our temperature calibration services are ideal for anything from single liquid in glass thermometer or digital thermometer calibration and entire industrial plants with 1000’s of temperature or process control instruments, (see table at the bottom of the page for typical types of temperature calibrations performed).

We also calibrate and perform surveys or mapping on ovens, fridges or freezers. 

All of our temperature calibration services are fully traceable to National Standards using UKAS calibrated equipment.  Our engineers are experienced and qualified temperature calibration experts.

Oven, Furnace, Fridge, Freezer Calibration Service Including Temperature Surveys and Temperature Mapping

  • Single or multiple temperature calibration and positions. 
  • Temperature survey or temperature mapping available with detailed reports and graphs. 
  • Table top laboratory oven or one bigger enough to fit a bus in! 
  • Heat treatment ovens and furnaces surveys, including the controllers and any digital or analogue chart recorders. Including to Nadcap AMS2750 requirements.
  • Thermal domestic ovens used in food development kitchens to the requirements of BS EN 60350-1
  • Microwave ovens used in food development kitchens to the requirements of BS EN 60705. AML are the only company in the UK currently offering Microwave Oven calibration services and have taken on the customers of GAMA Microwave Technology Ltd as Gordon Andrews has now retired.

Thermometers, Temperature Probes & Indicators

AML calibrates a wide rage of temperature measuring instrumentation, such as digital thermometers, infrared thermometers and thermal imaging cameras (see table below for detailed list)

We can perform Thermometer calibrations by direct comparison using Isotech dry block calibrators or stirred liquid baths and high accuracy UKAS calibrated precision master reference probes & indicators. We can also calibrate calibrations via signal injection (simulation) milivolts, ohms, 4 to 20 mA etc. using Fluke Process Calibrators.

Temperature Calibration Service Levels to Meet Your Needs

  • Onsite (we visit you) offsite (you send in the equipment)
  • Standard turnaround for offsite 5 working days, this can be reduced to 2 working days by prior agreement.
  • One off calibration, service or repair visit
  • Annual contract with a 12, 6, or 3 monthly visit cycle
  • Breakdown call outs with an agreed response time e.g. 4, 12, 24 or 48 hour, 7 day a week cover
  • All engineers hold IOSH H&S Passports
  • AML is SafeContractor accredited
