As an experienced calibration company, AML Instruments can offer ISO 6789-1:2017 and ISO 6789-2:2017 compliant checks for Type 1 (indicating) and Type 2 (setting) torque tools. These two torque wrench calibration standards were conceived by the International Organisation for Standards for Type 1 (indicating) and Type 2 (setting) torque tools.

Onsite Torque Wrench Calibration - We Come To You

Our onsite torque wrench calibration service couldn’t be easier. Give us a call and we’ll book you in a for a visit from one of our engineers. They’ll make the necessary adjustments to ensure your torque wrench’s accuracy and longevity, with a single torque wrench calibration taking less than 60 minutes.

Important: Our mobile team can only calibrate torque wrenches that measure 700 Nm and below. Anything above 700 Nm will need to be calibrated at our laboratory.

Transport your torque wrenches to us

If you can afford to be without your torque tools for several days, it’s usually more cost-effective to box them up and send them to our laboratory in Lincolnshire. The standard turnaround for this option is five working days, unless you opt for our express service (see below).

Once our engineer’s have checked your torque device is providing absolute and consistent accuracy, we’ll gladly arrange the return via UPS, complete with tracking details via email of the date of order shipment.

Time of the essence? Don’t worry — we offer an express 24-48 hour torque wrench calibration service. This service must be pre-booked, so please give us a call or email in advance.

Calibrate While You Wait

Our “Calibrate While You Wait” service (again requires pre-booking) is perfect for local Lincolnshire businesses or those working in the surrounding area. Whether you’re a mobile mechanic, service engineer, or part of a quality and inspection team, come grab a coffee and we’ll get your torque wrenches calibrated in the meantime. Before you know it, the job’s a good’un and you’ll be on your way.

We also offer a local calibration collection and delivery service that does the rounds every Monday, covering cities like Nottingham and Sheffield.

How much does it cost to calibrate a torque wrench?

Our torque wrench calibration pricing is split into two groups:

Under 1000Nm: £42.00 Excl. VAT and return shipping.

1001 – 1500Nm: £65 Excl. VAT and return shipping.

Our express 24 / 48 hour service costs an extra 40% and Calibrate While You Wait” 50%.

Other torque tools are quoted for on a case-by-case basis.
