WT-205 Wire Crimp Pull Tester

£2,321.00

Manufactured by Mark-10

Carry out wire crimp pull tests accurately and efficiently with the portable and customisable WT-205 Wire Crimp Pull Tester. You can apply up to 200 lbF (1,000 N) of force via an ergonomic lever, with the tester’s standard adjustable terminal fixture containing multiple slots for diameters up to AWG 3 (0.25 in [6.3 mm]).

The WT-205 stores up to 1,000 readings and calculates statistics. Upon sample break, the tester can automatically save and output the peak force and auto-zero in preparation for the next test, increasing testing consistency and efficiency.

Benefits

  • Portable and customisable design.
  • Self-tightening wedge grip securely clamps the free end of the cable
  • Accommodates virtually any wire insulation type via standard and optional grips.
  • Backlit graphic LCD displays real-time force, peak force, unit of measurement, and pass/fail indicators. Green and red pass/fail indicators may also be used.
  • A load bar on the display shows when an overload is approaching.
  • Measures real-time and peak force values.
  • High-speed 7,000 Hz sampling rate accurately captures peak force values.
  • Data can be transferred to a PC or other data collector via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analogue outputs.
  • Enhances wire quality assurance and helps sectors like aerospace and telecommunications maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • MESUR®Lite data acquisition software tabulates continuous or single point data.
  • One-click export to Excel allows for further data manipulation.
  • Password protection protects unauthorised changes.
  • Configurable audio alarms and key tones.
  • Mounting holes for bench mounting.
  • Three year warranty.
  • Supported by AML in the UK.
  • WT205M Wire Crimp Tester also available, which measures live and peak wire crimp force pull values up to 1 kN.

The WT-205 pull tester for crimped wires includes the following accessories:

  • 1 x AC Adapter
  • 1 x Battery
  • 1 x Certificate of calibration without data
  • 1 x Removable lever
  • 1 x USB cable.

Important: Mark-10 equipment (other than the gauges) features open-access calibration. This means calibration adjustments are not locked out, giving you the freedom to use any standard-compliant calibration laboratory of your choice, saving you time and reducing lifetime ownership costs.
