This shore hardness tester has a large backlit display and comes delivered in a robust carrying case, making it suitable for a challenging and dark environments, including automotive, construction, and manufacturing.

Choose from three of Sauter’s HD series durometers, all designed to conduct penetration measurement on plastics. The following models are available:

  • Shore A hardness tester — Rubber, elastomers, neoprene, silicone, vinyl, so plastics, felt, leather and similar material.
  • Shore AO hardness tester — foam, sponge.
  • Shore D hardness tester — plastics, formica, epoxides, plexiglass, etc.

    • Particularly recommended for internal comparison measurement. Standard calibrations e. g. to DIN 7619-1 are often not possible because of very narrow standard tolerances.
