With its “long stroke” cylinder, this frame enables compression tests on specimens ranging from 4 x 8 cm to 11 x 22 cm, without the need for height adjustment shims.
The frame is installed on a pedestal. This provides an ergonomic working height, removing the requirement to construct a specific base.
