ECT Sample Saw Cutter SS-25

This ECT Sample Saw Cutter is fitted with a high speed motor for military precise cutting of corrugated board samples for ECT compression testing on the sample crush tester. It has a 25mm cutting width (length 100mnm) and can cut samples up to a maximum thickness of 22mm.

Compliant with ISO 3037 and TAPPI T 811 standards, it also has automatic sample ejection, allowing for faster processing, preventing sample damage, and improving personnel safety by eliminating manual handling.

Test Description

A sample stripe is put into the sample holder. The motor and the vacuum cleaner are started by pushing a button and the saw blades are moving and cut the sample with exact 25 mm width. The sample falls in a sample holder and can be taken out after cutting. Now the sample stripe is moved into the saw for cutting the next sample. The machine is so constructed, that a change of the saw blades is very easy.

*Optionally, we can supply an industrial vacuum cleaner to collect the cutting dust.
