Minimal disruption — We come to you

Let’s have a chat and arrange a mutually convenient date for one of our engineers to visit your workplace. If you have a number of temperature probes that need calibrating, this service ensures minimal disruption and a rapid turnaround.

Post us your probe

If you can be without your temperature probe for a short while, why not send it to our calibration laboratory in Lincolnshire? It’s our cheapest option and we’ll send your probe(s) back within five working days via UPS.

Don’t forget about our express service

Our 24-48 hour express service is a happy halfway point that falls in between our quickest and cheapest options. This service requires pre-booking. Other than that, just send us your temperature probe(s) and we’ll do the rest.

Temperature probe calibration while you wait

We also offer a “calibrate while you wait” service. You’ll just need to give us a call beforehand to see if we can fit you in. If there’s space for us to calibrate your temperature probe, all you need to do is come to our premises just North of the centre of Lincoln and we’ll calibrate your instrument(s) while you wait. Feel free to help yourself to a cuppa in the meantime.

How often should temperature probes be calibrated?

There is no “one-size-fits-all” timeframe for the calibration of temperature probes. However, regular calibration of your temperature probes is essential for accuracy. It’s important to consider the amount of use the probe receives and the operating environment it is used in.

Additional calibration for your temperature prove may also be needed if it’s dropped or knocked, or goes between a wide variety of ambident temperatures (from freezing to boiling).
