How Does The Wheel-Shaped Paint Wet Film Thickness Gauge Work?

  • 50 mm diameter and 10 mm wide stainless steel disc.
  • Structure composed of two concentric side wheels and a central eccentric disc.
  • As it rolls over the wet coating, the eccentric disc comes into contact with the surface, indicating the applied thickness.
  • By knowing the solids content of the coating, the dry film thickness can be calculated.
