Suitable for use on metal, wood, or painted surfaces (as long as the coating is dry or partially cured), the CC2400 Multifunctional Master Paint Plate is designed to quickly perform adhesion and thickness tests in the field.
This pocket-sized, portable, precise, and resistant 5-in-1 tool combines everything you need to control coatings without bulky equipment in a single device.
This includes measuring wet film thickness, carrying out cross-cut adhesion tests, checking coating levelling, applying progressive coatings, and performing a cross-scratch Saint Andrews’s Cross type for corrosion tests.

One Single Tool, Multiple Solutions For Coating Quality Control
Ideal for inspectors, quality technicians and paint applicators, this single plate enables you to:
- Measure the thickness of fresh coatings (from 50 to 500 µm) according to ISO 2808.
- Apply progressive coatings as a stepped applicator up to 2000 µm.
- Perform cross-cut adhesion tests (1, 1.5, 2 and 3 mm) according to ISO 2409.
- Check the levelling of the coating to evaluate the viscosity of paints or varnishes.
- Carry out a cross-scratch Saint Andrew’s Cross type for corrosion tests (ASTM D3359).

Technical Details Of The Central Area
The central area of the plate includes:
- Parallel grooving guides:
- 6×1 mm
- 6×1.5 mm
- Allows cuts to be made up to the substrate without penetrating it, reducing the risk of surface damage.
Recommended Use According To Thickness:
- 1 mm → up to 60 µm.
- 1.5 mm → special applications.
- 2 mm → up to 120 µm.
- 3 mm → from 120 to 250 µm.
