Cross Cut Adhesion Test Procedure

1. Cross-cuts are made on the painted surface, forming a grid that reaches the substrate.
2. The area is brushed and a standardised adhesive tape is applied.
3. When the tape is removed, the coating detachment is inspected with a magnifying glass.

This method makes it possible to verify:

• The adhesion of the paint to the substrate.
• The cohesion between coating layers.
• The state of application or curing of the product.
