AML Instruments is delighted to announce the arrival of Ian Bishop to the company. Ian has taken on the role of Internal Sales Consultant, with key responsibilities including:
- Responding to incoming customer sales enquiries and provide suitable technical solutions.
- Preparing accurate and detailed quotations using customer information and technical input from colleagues or external experts.
- Communicating with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face where required.
- Proactively reaching out to existing and lapsed customers to identify opportunities.
Ian brings with him a strong sales background, with a three-year spell at Argos, before moving into the motor trade, honing his sales skills at various franchise, notably Mazda, Vauxhall, Renault, and most recently BYD, with a promotion thrown in for good measure.
Outside of work, Ian loves his rugby amongst injuries, life with his wife Jess (a fellow AML sales team member) and son Rowan, and very soon the next baby due in August. Good food and a nice pub trip are also a regular part of family life.
