AML Instruments are delighted to announce the arrival of Calibration Engineer Sabann Allen to the company.
Sabann began his engineering career after completing a Level Three NVQ, progressing through a three-year apprenticeship while working within industry. During this time, he gained experience across multiple departments, building a solid understanding of engineering environments, quality systems, and best practices.

As his experience developed, Sabann took on additional responsibility, including helping maintain UKAS accreditation within the dimensional department by becoming a UKAS authorised signatory. Alongside his technical role, he also gained experience supporting the commercial side of the business, contributing to sales activity and customer engagement.
This combination of technical capability and commercial awareness will enable Sabann to support AML’s customers with a practical, well-rounded approach.
Outside of work, Sabann enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle. His interests include hiking, training, and running. He’s also a keen listener of audiobooks, valuing continuous learning both professionally and personally.

Sabann admits his fellow engineers have been especially encouraging since he joined the company.

Allen becomes the second calibration engineer to be recruited by AML in quick succession, following the acquisition of Gavin Blurton, enabling our mobile calibration service to be even more agile and responsive to our clients.
