AML Instruments Launches Local Collection & Drop-Off Calibration Service for Test Equipment
AML Instruments, a trusted name in precision calibration services, is delighted to announce the launch of our local calibration collection and delivery service. It’s aimed at businesses located within a 35-mile radius of our state-of-the-art calibration laboratory (postcode LN1 2WE).
This new offering provides a convenient, efficient option for companies needing calibration of their test instruments without the disruption of organising shipping or transport.
We will arrange to collect the equipment directly from the customer’s site, return it to our lab for calibration, and then deliver it back within five working days. For clients requiring faster turnaround, an expedited service is available by pre-arrangement.
Each service request is assessed individually to ensure it remains cost-effective for both the client and AML. While the standard coverage area is a 35-mile radius from LN1 2WE, we are happy to consider requests slightly outside this range, especially when larger quantities of test equipment is involved.

“We’re excited to launch this service to better support local businesses with their calibration needs,” said Alex Leeson, Managing Director of AML Instruments. “Our new collection-and-drop-off offering not only makes compliance easier for busy teams, but also strengthens our connection to more companies across the county and neighbouring regions. We understand how disruptive it can be to organise transport, so we’re doing everything we can to make top-quality calibration more convenient and accessible.”
This initiative reinforces AML Instruments’ commitment to delivering customer-focused calibration services that prioritise both technical excellence and operational convenience, tailored to the real-world needs of UK industries.
