TQC Sheen Baker Film Applicator

Designed to be used for film application and drawdowns, our range of baker film applicators help to ensure the quality and consistency of paints, coatings, and other liquids.
Also known as a cylindrical film applicator, it’s available in film widths of 60mm, 80mm, 100mm, and 150mm, and gap sizes of 15 up to 200 µm.
Each baker film applicator has four sides of defined gap sizes to apply consistent film thicknesses.

Note: The total applicator width is the film width + 2 x 20 mm feet.
** The VF1560 has the total width of the film + 2 x 10 mm feet.
Due to physical reasons, the maximum film thickness applied is not equal to the gap size. The deposited film thickness may vary from 40% to 80% of the gap size. Also note that the dry film thickness will be lower than wet thickness due to solvent or water evaporation.
