Ray-Ran Auto Density Measurement Apparatus

Ray-Ran Auto Density Measurement Apparatus

Manufactured by Ray Ran

Need a density measurement device to accurately measuring the density of your small solid specimens?  Look no further than the Ray-Ran Density Gradient apparatus. It uses the gradient column method to calculate the density measurement of a specimen to six decimal places.

Built with operator simplicity in mind, its ease of application and high accuracy (calculates the specimen’s density to a resolution of 0.001g/m1) is effective for determining the density measurement of plastics, polymers, resins, and more.

Benefits

  • World’s benchmark for accurate density measurement of small solid specimens using the column method.
  • Ideal for density testing during quality control and product development within production, research and development labs, and teaching institutions.
  • Built-in digital temperature control to ensure the temperature of each column is at 23°C+/- 0.1°C.
  • For ambient temperatures in excess of 23°C, the integrated cooling coil can be used in conjunction with an optional water chiller unit so the correct temperature can be maintained.
  • Built-in on-board Microprocessor System is available as a 3 or 6 column version.
  • Accurately calculates the specimen’s density to a resolution of 0.001g/ml more quickly and more precisely by measuring the samples position in the column relative to the calibrated marker floats.
  • Automatic density calculation.
  • Automatic calibration system.
  • Density is displayed on an LCD display with backlight.
  • Column linearity can also be checked and shown in Techni-Test software.
  • Results are shown in graphical and tabular format for analysis when downloaded to the supplied Techni-Test PC software
  • Variable speed pumped filling system.
  • Twin conical filling flasks.
  • Automatic magnetic stirrer.
  • Automatic sweep mechanism.
  • Stainless steel sweep baskets.
  • 7x optical microscope.
  • Mini USB.
  • Cooling coil.
  • 110v 60hz and 240v 50Hz .
  • Traceable calibration certificate.
  • CE declaration certificate.
  • One year return to base warranty.
  • Meets standards ASTM D1505 and ISO 1183.
  • Optional microprocessor-controlled water flow valve kit available for even greater accuracy and control of the temperature.
