Puncture

Puncture strength tests are performed in industries like medical, packaging, and textiles, as well as the food industry to determine the ripeness of a product. They reveal the puncture or rupture characteristics of materials such as film, rubber, or membranes, i.e. how resistant it is to being punctured by a sharp object.
